Police seize drugs in Dhubri, one held

A Correspondent, Dhubri, June 8: In a significant breakthrough, Dhubri police have apprehended a suspect with a substantial quantity of drugs in a covert operation carried out in the village east of Chowmor in the Dhubri Chagalsara area. The operation, led by Kapil Chandra Das, in-charge of the College Nagar police station, resulted in the arrest of a youth named Shahidur Rahman. Authorities managed to seize 100 drug containers weighing a total of 114.17 grams from Rahman. The successful raid highlights the effectiveness of Dhubri police in combating drug trafficking in the region. According to the police, the detained Shahidur Rahman is currently being brought to the College Nagar police station for further questioning.
