A Correspondent, Bajali, June 20: BHB College, Sarupeta celebrates the death anniversary of Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha on Thursday in a befitting manner. The celebration began with lighting the ceremonial lamp and floral tribute before the portrait of Bishnu Prasad Rabha by Dr Nayan Jyoti Das, Principal of the college along with others. To commemorate the celebration, a meeting was held in the college premises under the presidentship of Principal Dr. Das. The objective of the meeting was explained by Preeti Rekha Dutta, Assistant Professor in Assamese. Prabodh Kalita, HoD, in the department of Economics of the college delivered a lecture on the life and works of Bishnu Rabha in the meeting. Almost all the faculty members and students attended the programme. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks offered by Dr. Namita Das, Assistant Professor of the college.
