Assam Govt. to introduce Social Media Influencer Bill

Staff Reporter, Guwahati, February 23: The Assam government is planning to introduce ‘paid advertisements’ which would be circulated in the form of content on various social media influencers’ pages. The advantage for the state government in coming up with such a bill will be that it would ensure better reach of the promoted content. Moreover, the content will also be available on numerous social media platforms and also attract varied audiences in different age groups.
