Meeting on child safety held at North Lakhimpur

Staff Reporter, North Lakhimpur, July 24: Under the ageis of non-government social organisation People Action for Development(PAD) and in association with Malala project, a meeting on child safety was held at North Lakhimpur today. In the meeting which was held at the conference hall of Lakhimpur Zila Parishad office, the employees of education department and health department of child safety department Bhaben Bharali,Nilima Pathak, Ramananda Borah,Kamaleswar Deka and Prangana Borah were present respectively along with the members of the child safety committees from ten project tea estates including Harmoti, Wahaat, Dolhaat, Tunijaan, Silonibari, Dirju, Johing, Koylamari, Ananda, Pathalipam, Siyajuli and Sinatoli. Malala project's director Winfred Topno and project co-ordinator Philisiya Marak were also present in the meeting.
