Biswanath Chariali, July 24: A total of seventeen Tang Soo Do players on behalf of Biswanath district Tang Soo Do association had participated in the 11th edition of All Assam Tang Soo Do championship that was held on July 21 and 22 at Guwahati and brought laurels to Biswanath area by winning eleven medals in different categories, informed Nihar Saikia, working president of Biswanath district Tang Soo Do association. The medal winning players were Kishan Mandal, Gold Medal (43 kg) while Anamika Devi (33 kg), Om Magar (35 kg), Swapnaraj Hazarika (40 kg) managed to win silver medals. On the contrary Kalpana Pradhan (43 kg), Mayuri Kakty (33 kg), Karan Bhumij (43 kg), Pranish Rijal (47 kg), Karan Lamsal (46 kg), Prince Gorkha Dhakal (52 kg) and Swati Gorkha Dhakal (47 kg) won bronze medals. Organizations and individuals of the greater Biswanath area have conveyed best wishes to the medal winning players, coaches and the entire team.
