Assam governor various government schemes in Nagaon

Staff Reporter Nagaon, June 27: Assam Governor Golap Chand Kataria visited the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Nagaon this afternoon here and also took part in a slew of meetings at the conference hall of Nagaon DC office. The governor took the guard of honour from the police personnel from the district police administration at the office premise of the Deputy Commissioner, Nagaon following which he participated in a review meeting held with the senior officials of district administration as well as other heads of various departments. During the meeting, the state governor Kataria reviewed almost all flagship schemes being sponsored by the central government as well as the state government and also took stock from the district heads of various departments as well as the other senior officials of district administration. Besides, following the meeting, the governor also participated in another meeting with the public representatives and the beneficiaries of those government schemes sponsored by central as well as the state government at the same DC's conference hall here. It is reported that the state government will stay at Nagaon Circuit House tonight here, sources added.
