Illegal JCB seized in Lekhapani

Staff Reporter, Tinsukia, December 13: The Lekhapani regional forest department under Digboi forest division in Tinsukia district seized an illegal JCB Today morning.JCB seized by hand while involved in smuggling of timber in Tirap Reserve Forest.A team in charge of regular patrolling by the forest department arrested a man, including an illegal JCB, from Haldibari in Tirap reserve forest last night.The operator of JCB. managed to escape but the forest department's patrolling team managed to nab an assistant.According to reports, JCB is also owned by 17-mile Dangman and assistant, Rahim Rai, who owns Jairampur in Arunachal Pradesh.The seized JCB and the helper have been brought to the office premises by the Lekhapani Regional Forest Department and are interrogating them.
