Guwahati, November2: Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship is observing Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 as per the guidelines of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) with the theme “Corruption free India for a Developed Nation” from October 31 to November 6. The vigilance awareness week commenced with Integrity pledge as organisation and citizen administered by Dr. Lalit Sharma, Director IIE to the faculties, officials and employees was also held as a part of the programme. Observance of Vigilance Awareness Week every year is part of the multi-pronged approach of the Commission where a key strategy is to encourage all stakeholders to collectively participate in the prevention of, and the fight against corruption and to raise public awareness regarding the existence, causes and gravity of and the threat posed by corruption. IIE is conducting various activities like workshops/sensitization programme on preventive vigilance measures, display of banners or posters at prominent locations and office notice board, grievance complaint submission, special clearance campaign of all outstanding and pending work, assets inspection, essay writings, quiz competition to create awareness among all the stakeholders, employees to promote and uphold ethical values, since corruption is one of the major obstacles for the overall development of the country during the week.
