Farewell bid of DIPRO Operator Munindra Mali

Staff Reporter, Biswanath Chariali, November 3: Munindra Mali, who has been serving as an inventor (operator) at the office of the District Information and Public Relations Department in Biswanath, was accorded a warm farewell bid by the officers and employees of the department today at the office premises. The inventor of the office, Munindra Mali, voluntarily retired on October 31 last. Biswajit Saikia, ADC cum officer-in-charge of District Information and Public Relations Officer-in-Charge, Tapanjit Deka, Treasury Officer, Munindra Kumar Sarma, Assistant Planning Officer and other officers and employees of the department were present at the farewell ceremony. Mali was felicitated with a citation, gamosa, sarai and documents relating to pension and retirement funds were also presented. Munindra Mali was handed over all the pension documents at a farewell reception held two days after his retirement today. The farewell ceremony was attended by senior assistants of the public relations department Paban Kumar Nath, Ranjit Saikia, employee Tilak Nath and several others. He was born on October 31, 1963 in Baihata Chariali under Kamalpur Police Station of Kamrup (Rural) district. After completing his schooling, he joined the Directorate of Information and Public Relations Department in Guwahati on April 30, 1985 as a Unit Boy. He was later transferred to the Jorhat Regional Office on April 1, 1989 and on August 1, 2017 he was promoted to the then Sub-Division Information and Public Relations Officer's Office, Biswanath District as Inventor (Operator). He served in various offices of the Public Relations Department for 37 years, 6 months and 1 day till his retirement.
