Class on Life Skill Development Education held at Garchiga Tribal HS School

Staff Reporter, North Lakhimpur, November 8: A class on Life Skill Development Education was held today at Garchiga Tribal HS School, North Lakhimpur under the chairmanship of the Principal of the school Mainul Hoque. The class, anchored by the Post-Graduate teacher Powal Gogoi, was attended by District Level Master Trainer Bharat Rajlhowa who elaborately explained to the students on the ten life skills. He mesmerized the students by explaining these ten life skills with suitable illustrations -- self-awareness, empathy, effective communication, interpersonal relation, decision making, critical thinking, problem solving, creative thinking, coping with emotion and managing stress. In his fruitful lecture, Bharat Rajlhowa said to the students,"You are a flower to bloom and your fragrance would spread far and wide if you would become a great man." "Life is not a living merely, it is a celebration. We should celebrate life", he commented. The class started with a chorus sung by the students and teachers. Several students also performed songs and dance in the class.
