Stationary items distributes among school students

Staff Reporter, Tinsukia, October 22: Digboi Battalion of Red Shield Division under the aegis of Spear Corps provided the much needed stationary items to Simaluguri Chuk Lower Primary School, Langkashi, Tinsukia on October 22 aimed at improving the basic infrastructure of the school. The ceremony was witnessed by 25 staff members, 21 parents and 300 students of the school. The Company Commander of Digboi battalion provided the stationary items to the school giving the message of importance of quality education in our lives. Provision of such infrastructure to young students will not only help in providing quality education but also provide a platform to develop a better understanding of things increasing their interests in the studies.The ceremony was celebrated by both children and staff of the school by presenting a cultural dance and a song for the audience and the event enhanced the image of the Indian Army amongst the young children. The enthusiasm displayed by the young students of the school reflected their passion for studies. The Children, parents and staff expressed their gratitude towards this gesture of the Indian Army and seemed motivated to do their best in studies and contribute towards nation building with their better future.
