Society for Srimanta Sankaradeva & Parampara Pravah to organize Workshop on Brajawali

Staff Reporter, Guwahati, October 21 : Society for Srimanta Sankaradeva (SSS) and Parampara Pravah jointly to organize a workshop on the use of Brajawali in November at Guwahati in collaboration with Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra Society. The International Council for Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), North East region will also be associated with it. It is to mention that earlier it was decided to hold in July. The new dates of the workshop are November 20 & 21. Dr. Basanta Kumar Goswami, an eminent linguist and former General Secretary of Asam Sahitya Sabha, Dr. Mukul Chakraborty, Professor, Gauhati University and Kanaklal Das, Writer are resource persons of the workshop. As decided at the annual general meeting of Society for Srimanta Sankaradeva under the Presidentship of Dr. Sanjib Kumar Borkakoti, President of SSS, the workshop will be coordinated by the vice president of SSS and Director of Parampara Pravah Dr. Mallika Kandali, who will be assisted by Dr. Madhuchanda Chaliha Bhuyan, vice president; Anjana Tamuli assistant secretary and Dr. Buljit Buragohain, media in charge of SSS. Dr. Sanjib Kumar Borkakoti, President of SSS, Mridu Moucham Bora, Secretary of SSS and Pradip Hazarika, Coordinator of SSS will make overall supervision of it. The workshop will be open for only a limited number of candidates. Therefore, Society for Srimanta Sankaradeva and Parampara Pravah welcomes prior registration for the workshop.
