Principals Forum to celebrate foundation day on October 14

Bureau Report, Nagaon, October 10: The 5th foundation day of Assam HS School principals' Forum will be held on October 14, 2022 here at the premises of Nagaon Dawson HS and Multi Purpose School. Tapan Kumar Daidya and Pranab Borthakur respectively the president and secretary of the district unit of the forum while speaking to some local media persons here, said that on occasion of the day, a state level seminar on 'National Education policy 2020 and its application in higher secondary level' will be held too. The seminar will be inaugurated by Mridul Kr Nath, Inspector of schools, Nagaon Subdivision while Mamata Hojai, director of higher education, government of Assam will attend the occasion as chief guest. Deputy Commissioner, Narendra Kr Shah also will be present in the programme, they said adding further that Pulak Patgiri, secretary to Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, Dr Akhil Ranjan Dutta, professor, department of political science, Gauhati University and Mridul Hazarika, vice chancellor of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev Vishwavidyalaya would also be present in the seminar as invitees. The district unit of the forum urged all the heads of the higher secondary schools of the district to extend their hands as well as to co-operate the organizing committee to make the programme a successful one.
