MLA Padma Hazarika opposes Miya museum

Staff Reporter, Biswanath Chariali, October 27: There is a lot of controversy about the issue of the establishment of the Miya museum in the state at present. Addressing a media gathering here, Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika said that the opening of the Miya museum by the people of Bangladeshi origin is a symbolic threat to the indigenous people of Assam. He further added that Miya wants to open an arms factory in the state in the days to come. If they are not stopped right now they would form a war against the Assamese nation which will surely hamper the structure of the greater Assamese nation. He said the Congress party of the state has taken a strategic stance on the Miya museum and if the Congress party is silent on these issues that threaten the Assamese nation. The present Congress party is on the verge of extinction due to the lack of strength in the face of the challenges and difficult times facing the Assamese nation.
