Julie Borgohain memorial quiz competition held in Golaghat

Staff Reporter, Golaghat, October 21: Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar School, Golaghat organised Late Julie Borgohain Memorial Quiz competition among the students of Standard VIII to XII from various educational institutions of Golaghat. Many teams enrolled for the competition. The quiz rounds were conducted by Quiz Master Chandopal Saikia. Earlier Lamp Lighting was done by Principal Subhasish Rajkhowa. After the floral tribute, a welcome speech was given by Principal Subhasish Rajkhowa. Significance of the day was explained by Rashmita Bhuyan. Quiz Master Chandopal Saikia and an ex-student of the school Debasish Bhuyan were felicitated . Students presented the school anthem . The first prize was bagged by Kritartha Boruah and Krishtikavya Dutta of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, second prize by Jyotishna Boruah and Aakriti Gupta of D.R College and Protyash Prashanta Tamuly and Ankur Jyoti Tamuly of D.R College bagged the third prize. The prizes comprising Running trophy, Individual Trophies, Cash awards and certificates were given away by Dr. G.D. Phukan, Chairman of the Managing Committee,Tripti Goswami, Advisor and Educational Coordinator, Subhasish Rajkhowa, Principal of the Institute, Bipul Rajkumar Secretary and Vice Principal Subrata Kar. Vote of thanks was given by Archana Borah and Mangal Aarti by Tripti Goswami.
