Drug peddler arrested in Tinsukia

Staff Reporter, Tinsukia October 20:Tinsukia district headquarters police intensified a drive against banned drugs. Today, a police team led by city inspector Bhaskarjyoti Rajbarua of Tinsukia Sadar police station conducted a raid and nabbed a man with drugs from the commerce town of Tinsukia.Manoj Mallik, a notorious drug dealer, was nabbed from the residence of a resident of Parvatiya in the city.Police also seized gold and silver chains besides Rs 12,500 in cash including 16.6 grams of banned drugs.Even now, Tinsukia Sadar police continue to interrogate the arrested drug peddler for more information.
