USTM conducted training for School teachers on Statistical Tools

Staff Reporter, Guwahati, September 27: The Department of Computer Science and Electronics in association with NSS Cell, USTM, conducted a Training Programme on Applications of Computer Statistical tools for the teachers of Little Star Sr. Secondary School of Ri-Bhoi district yesterday. All the teachers of this village school joined in this hands-on training programme and learned about applications of different computer tools used for maintaining students’ attendance records, examination evaluation, payroll management system etc. This Training Programme was conducted under the Best Practice of the Dept. of Computer Science & Electronics, University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya. This programme is an initiative of the department to provide free training courses to the school teachers of Ri-Bhoi district under the best practice operation scheme of the department.
