Two new hostels inaugurated at JNV, Dhubri

Staff Reporter, Dhubri, September 7: Two new hostels of 48 beds each were inaugurated at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya located in Alamganj of Dhubri district on Wednesday. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is a residential school run by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous body under the Department of School Education, Government of India. Located in the rural area of Dhubri district, this school is not only known for excellent education but also famous for sports and cultural activities. Both the hostels were inaugurated by the principal in-charge of the school E. Rahman. After the inauguration, he said that for the last few years, there was a problem of shortage of accommodation for children in the school. But with the construction of both the new hostels, constructed under the construction work of the second phase, children will get rid of the problem of shortage of accommodation. During the inaugural program, a special Puja was held and all the staff wished for a pleasant stay for the students in the hostel. In this program Pranjal Das, Mohit Kumar, Nurul Islam, Dr. Jeetendra Yadav, Saroj Mishra, Bipul Chandra Das and all the staff and students were present.
