NGO Yog Vidya Pitham organized free medical camp in Margherita

Staff Reporter, Tinsukia, September 12: A free medical camp was held at Ulup under Margherita subdivision on Sunday at the initiative of Yoga Vidya Peetham. The free medical camp was organized with the aim of providing medical care to the people of rural areas under the initiative of Yoga Vidya Peetham NGO of margherita. Hundreds of patients from the area get themselves checked at the medical camp to be held at Ulup Primary School.Apart from health check-ups, medicines are also provided free of cost on behalf of The Yoga Vidya Peetham.Dr. Manbrata Gogoi, Director of Yoga Vidya Peetham and a doctor at Coal India Hospital in Margherita, and Dr. Mousumi Gogoi, a doctor at Lekhapani Primary Health Centre, provided medical services at the medical camp.Deep Acharya, General Secretary of Yoga Vidya Peetham, graced the performance of various yoga arts at the beginning of the programme by the members of The Yoga Vidya Peetham.The people of the rural areas will be greatly benefited by the free medical camp.
