Dr. Gayatri Gogoi received International-level Award

Staff Reporter, North Lakhimpur, September 21: Dr. Gayatri Gogoi from Assam received International-level Dr. Chandra Shekhar Das Memorial Excellent Service in Cancer Award-2022 from Breast Cancer Hub, an NGO situated in North Carolina,USA who works in the fields of cancer research and social service.She is an Assistant Professor of Lakhimpur Medical College who had been working in the Assam Medical College in Dibrugarh for a long time. On Monday, Dr. Gogoi, who is well-known for her honorary service towards research and cancer patients, received this honour from the President Dr. Lopamudra Das in a youth convocation programme of the organization. Another recipient of the award was cancer specialist Dr. Raghab Redy Induru, an Indian-origin American. Dr. Gayatri Gogoi attended in the USA to participate in the conference of American Association for Cancer Research, an organisation that leads cancer research across the world, and during this visit she got the prestigious Dr. Chandra Shekhar Das Award.
