After mother and father, son gets recognition from IBR

Staff Reporter, Golaghat, September 14: A family in Golaghat has been able to create attention from the citizens for its National and International level records. After the parents now their eleven years old son has received recognition from India Book of Records. Preenon Saikia, son of Pranabjyoti Saikia and Bornali Dutta who originally hailed from Hatiyekhowa village and presently residing at New Amolapattay in Golaghat has made a record by showing his unique talent. Preenon Saikia performed 91 left leg thumb cracks in one minute at the age of 11 which has been recognized as a record by the India Book of Records. Preenon, a student of sixth standard studying at Golaghat Govt Bezbaruah HS School, stated that he got inspiration from his parents who had also made records last year. His mother Bornali Dutta got recognition from India Book of Records as well as Asia Book of Records by doing embroidery design of thirty one Asanas of Yoga on fresh mango leaves. Similarly his father Pranabjyoti Saikia also got recognition from India Book of Records for drawing ten numbers of national flags in ten white sesame seeds in 6.23 minutes. Meanwhile family members and local people have highly appreciated Preenon Saikia and congratulated him for his achievement.
