Rally held to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at Basugaon

Assam Rising Chirang, August 12: According to the Har Ghar Tiranga programme organized in line with the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a huge rally was held at Basugaon in Chirang district today. India will celebrate its 75th Independence Day on August 15. On that occasion, according to the Har Ghar Tiranga program, under the initiative of Basugaon Police Station and various party organizations as well as it in collaboration with rickshaws, tempo unions, this huge rally program was also organized. Around 500 E-rickshaws, tempos and nearly a thousand people, along with more than 500 E-rickshaws, tempos, took part in the rally, led by Nabajyoti Talukdar, officer-in-charge of Basugaon police station. The officer-in-charge of Basugaon police station appealed to all the public to hoist the National Flag of India from house to house from August 13 to August 15. On the other hand, Nabajyoti Talukdar, officer-in-charge of Basugaon police station, appealed to the people not to throw away the flags hoisted on August 15.
