Dhubri, August 26: Students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Dhubri received consolation prize for participating in the ceremonial parade at Raja P C Maidan, Dhubri on August 15 last to mark the 76th Independence Day 2022. It is worth mentioning that teams of various schools and colleges of the district, including Navodaya Vidyalaya, participated in this parade. Ranoj Pegu, Education Minister of Assam was the Chief Guest at the event held on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day. According to the information received from the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Dhubri district, principal Dinesh Prasad was invited to the conference hall located in the Deputy Commissioner's office on Friday and honored with a certificate and memento. Principal Prasad expressed happiness over such performance of the children and appreciated both the Physical Education Teachers of the school M Rasheed and Sita Devi.
