Homeguard held with illegal liquor at Nagaon

Bureau Report Nagaon, August 1: Based on a tip off, Nagaon town police led by SI Abhoyjyoti Rabha busted a racket of illegal foreign liquor at Haiborgaon Bishnu Nagar area. Police seized a huge number of bottles of illegal foreign liquor being stored at the house of one Ranjit Das, sources said, adding that police immediately arrested Ranjit Das and Ranjit Bora in connection with the illegal trading of foreign liquor. It is pertinent to mention here that Ranjit Das is a home guard personnel working in Nagaon DEF for a long time and is also a leader of home guard association.
