Excise raid conducted by Margherita excise circle

Bikash Baruah, Tinsukia, August 11: An extensive excise search, patrolling and raid were conducted on August 10 in Namphai, Jagun, Lakla, Ahom Pathar, Namchik Gate area by the team of Margherita Excise Circle under the supervision of Shri. Prasanta Dutta, DSE, Margherita. 3 (three) cases were detected and around Beer-87.60 BL, IMFL-4.68 BL (for sale in Arunachal Pradesh only) Illicit Distilled Liquor-22 litres and Fermented Wash around 70 litres were seized and 1 set of Distillation Apparatus was also destroyed during the operation.
