District Mineral Foundation Trust Committee meeting held in Lakhimpur

Staff Reporter, North Lakhimpur, August 25: A meeting of District Mineral Foundation Trust Committee, Lakhimpur was held at the conference hall of the office of the Lakhimpur DC, North Lakhimpur today. Progress of several important works which were announced in the trust's meeting held on January 6 last to develop the district has been taken stock of in today's meeting from different departments. From the departments, it was known that Social Forestry Department has completed the work of planting saplings in the Lakhimpur by-pass and in the complex of Lakhimpur Medical College, the construction of the shooting range in Madhavdev University is almost completed, LED bulbs are provided to every LP School of the district and the work for the development of the botanical garden in North Lakhimpur College is going on in full swing. In today's meeting also, resolutions of many developmental works have been accepted for all the three legislative constituencies of Lakhimpur district. Lakhimpur MLA Manab Deka, Bihpuria MLA Dr. Amiya Kumar Bhuyan, Lakhimpur DC Sumit Sattawan, ADC Sanjib Doley, delegates of Lakhimpur MP and Dhakuakhana MLA, social worker Phanidhar Baruah and the members of District Mineral Foundation Trust Committee were present in the meeting.
