Amrit Sarobar scheme inaugurated at Biswanath

Staff Reporter, Biswanath Chariali, August 12: Biswanath MLA Pramod Borthakur today inaugurated the Amrit Sarobar scheme for the first time at Biswanath LAC. Notably, Amrit Sarobar scheme is a national scheme for excavation and development of ponds. The scheme was launched at Magurmara village under No. 5 Sootea GP. The inaugural session was attended by Palak Kumar Sarma, BOD Sootea, Paresh Borkakaty, vice chairman of Animal Husbandry, Assam besides others.
