Hojai, August 25: In a bid to protect the rich culture and traditional rituals, Nepali Sanskriti Suraksha Parishad organized a 10 days priest(purohit) training samellan under the name 'Dharamraksha Prasheeksan' which began on August 20 last at Sanskar Bhawan in Geeta-Ashram in Hojai. A total of 29 trainees from 13 districts of the State have taken part in this training. Two highly qualified and skilled trainers from Gauhati namely Rohini Upadhya and Fanindra Gautam are imparting training to the trainees on various subjects like rules to follow while doing puja, hawan and detailed deliberation on Santan Dharma and its significance. The 10 days training will conclude on August 29. On the other hand, Indra Chapagai,Convenor,Nepali Sanskriti Suraksha Parishad,Uttar Purb; Birendra Rana,General Secretary;Basista Bujurbaruha Sahakshetra Pracharak, Rastriya Swayam Sevak Sangh, also expressed their views and gave deliberations to trainees on Santan Dharma, why it is important to protect our religion,it's rituals,traditions;etc.
