Zubeen Garg Fan Club & Enajori offers helping hand to flood victims in Tangla

Bikash Rabha, Udalguri, June 28: At present the whole of Assam is under floodwaters. Floods have caused severe damage to many people's homes, animals and the entire human population of Assam. Due to the flood many have lost their homes, many have lost loved ones. A huge loss all around Assam for floods. In this case, it is not uncommon for people to live in camps with cows and goats in many places. In parallel, such tragic scenes have been witnessed in different parts of Assam, including Udalguri-Darrang district. In addition to this, the government is extending a helping hand to the people of the flood affected areas during the disaster, and a number of individuals, community, fan clubs and voluntary organizations have also taken action. In parallel, as in the past, youths of Zubeen Garg Fan Club of Tangla in Udalguri district and the Anajori 'Ek Nirab Bandhun' have been working together for the relief of the victims. Over the past week, they have been seeking help from people in various places including shops, markets and roads in Tangla city. The people of Tangla have been cooperating with the process of seeking help through their performances of songs which they named as "Sur Bahini". Ripul Boro, President of Zubeen Garg Fan Club, Tangla, said that the program would continue till the first week of July. In addition to the various donations made by people through this, they also voluntarily went to visit various flood victims in Assam to extend a helping hand.
