Major reshuffle in Assam Police

Guwahati, 15th May, 2021: In a major re-shuffle in Assam police, top cops from the districts have been transferred and posted with immediate effect.
As per the notification from the office of Commissioner and Secretary, Home and Political Department, Government of Assam on Friday, Anand Mishra, IPS (RR-2011), Superintendent of Police, Dhubri is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Nagaon with effect from date of taking over charge Gurav Abhijit Dilip, IPS who has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Dhubri.
Similarly, Kangkan Jyoti Saikia, IPS (SPS-2008), Superintendent of Police, South Salmara is transferred and attached to Assam Police headquarters until further orders.
Amanjeet Kaur, IPS (RR-2009), Superintendent of Police, Nalbari is transferred and posted as Assitant Inspector General of Police (Administration), Guwahati with effect from date of taking over charge against existing vacancy. Nimbalkar Vaibhav Chandrakant, IPS (RR-2009), Superintendent of Police, Tinsukia is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Cachar with effect from the date of taking over charge vice Bhanwar Lal Meena, IPS transferred.
