Guardian Minister Bimal Bora visits in Bajali district



Bajali, 24 June: Bimal Bora who represents the Tingkhong constituency is the new Sports & Youth Welfare, Cultural Affairs, Power, Tourism Minister in Himanta Biswa Sarma led-Cabinet, who is also Guardian Minister for Bajali district, visited the district on Wednesday and took part of the first review meeting at Deputy Commissioner’s Office conference hall. Bora acknowledged the important contributions in the social life of Assam by advancing education, literature and culture and said that the government will take appropriate steps to make Bajali district a full-fledged district as quickly as possible. Guardian Minister Bora also said that there is every possibility towards making Bajali ready in a new form. As a newly formed district its officers will have a lot of public expectations and officials have to be careful to fulfil that expectation of the people. He urged all to work as 'Team Bajali' for all round development of the district. Bora also admonished the power department officials to take appropriate action with the help of local police for illegal power connections and power supply. Panchayat & Rural Development, Public Health Engineering, Food & Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Minister and Assam BJP president Ranjit Kumar Das also accompanied the Minister during his visits. Attending the review meeting, Ranjit Das said that Bajali has given a lot to Assam, But Bajali has not found much compared to that. Don't let Bajali lie down any more. This time we will continue to make efforts to make Bajali light up. Thus, das expressed his opinion. Bhawanipur MLA Panidhar Talukdar was also felicitated by the district administration at the meeting. Deputy commissioner Mrigesh Narayan Barua, Superintendent of Police, Bajali  Dharamendra Das, Additional Deputy commissioners, SDC and other district officials are present at all the meetings. It may be recalled that the minister also visited two Covid vaccination centres at the end of the meeting.
